Job summary

Smith Hanley Associates is seeking a Senior Market Research Manager to lead demanding pharma and life sciences research, with growing sustainability work. This hands-on, client-facing role operates in a hybrid CT-based office and covers the full product lifecycle from pipeline to brand work.

You will manage studies end-to-end, partner with senior stakeholders, translate insights into actionable guidance, and help grow accounts across multiple projects.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of direct primary market research experience (agency/consulting preferred).
• Strong foundation in qual and quant methodologies.
• Ability to present insights to senior leaders and manage multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex qual + quant research end-to-end (design, execution, analysis, storytelling)
• Partner directly with senior client stakeholders to shape research objectives and recommendations
• Translate insights into clear, actionable business guidance
• Manage multiple projects at once across different clients and workstreams
• Collaborate with researchers, data scientists, and consultants
• Support account growth and long-term client relationships
