Job Description

The Project Manager will lead a team and serve as the primary point of contact across business units for market research initiatives in the Life Sciences space. The individual will be responsible for managing end-to-end project execution, ensuring alignment with client objectives, and maintaining strong stakeholder relationships. They will actively engage with cross-functional teams to drive actionable insights and ensure the successful delivery of brand‑specific research programs, often working onsite to facilitate strategic coordination.

Qualifications
  • Advanced degree (MBA, Master’s, or equivalent) from a recognized institute preferred.
  • 6–10 years of professional experience in Primary Market Research, including substantial exposure to U.S.-based qualitative and quantitative market research projects within the pharmaceutical or life sciences industry.
  • Strong expertise in pharmaceutical market research, with a deep understanding of methodologies, study design, data interpretation, and insight generation.
  • Proven experience managing end-to-end delivery of primary and secondary research initiatives across therapeutic areas and brand lifecycles.
  • Solid grasp of pharma commercialization dynamics and the ability to translate research findings into actionable recommendations for commercial teams.
  • Ability to lead and mentor cross‑functional teams in hybrid (onsite + remote) settings, ensuring high‑quality, timely execution.
  • Strong client‑facing skills with the ability to manage stakeholder expectations, resolve issues, and build trusted relationships.
  • Willingness to be onsite at client locations as required.
Responsibilities
  • Lead market research project execution across assigned onsite client accounts, ensuring alignment with timelines, quality standards, and client objectives.
  • Primary point of contact for brand‑specific market research (qualitative and quantitative) initiatives across business units and therapeutic areas.
  • Oversight over all phases of market research delivery to ensure integrated, insight‑driven outputs.
  • Manage senior client relationships to maintain engagement continuity, proactively address research‑related issues, and support evolving business needs.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams outside Primary Market Research to be a thought partner and drive strategic and actionable insights for clients.
  • Monitor project health, mitigate research delivery risks, and maintain clear, proactive communication with client stakeholders and internal leadership.
  • Stay current on therapeutic area developments and industry trends to provide context‑rich, forward‑looking insights that enhance the value of MR outputs.
Leadership
  • Will be responsible for overall leadership, talent development, skill advancement, and engagement and retention of talent in the team.
  • Foster learning mindset in the team to proactively develop research and story‑telling skills, leveraging multiple sources of data to answer business questions.
  • Develop new capabilities leveraging new sources of data and methods that include segment‑level analysis, etc.
  • Mentor/Guide team members who can benefit from your expertise and experience.
