Confluence Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Senior Analyst in Market Data Governance & Procurement in Pittsburgh, PA. You will own vendor relationships, negotiate contracts, manage renewals, budgeting and invoice reconciliation, and maintain data inventories.

The role bridges business, product, engineering, finance, legal and external data providers to ensure compliant, cost-efficient data procurement. Preferred locations include Montreal, Toronto, Pittsburgh or Boston, with other Northeast US

Qualifications

• 3+ years in market data, financial data management, or data-product environments.
• Direct experience with financial market data vendors and supplier-management.
• Experience with market data licensing, commercial negotiation or contract review.
• Knowledge of financial instruments, indexes, exchanges, ESG data, reference data or pricing data.
• Understanding budgeting, accounting considerations and supplier invoice reconciliation.
• Strong data-analysis, problem solving, communication and project management skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage market data procurement and vendor relationships.
• Lead contract renewals, pricing discussions and service reviews.
• Reconcile supplier invoices and support budgeting and financial controls.
• Maintain market data, contracts and usage inventories.
• Strengthen data-governance standards, definitions and data dictionaries.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Finance, Legal and external providers to improve data quality and workflows.
