Job summary

Novelis, a global leader in aluminum recycling and sustainability, seeks a Business Data & Governance Analyst in the Atlanta area. You will link procurement stakeholders with technical data teams to define data definitions, governance, and quality across ERP systems and data platforms.

You will partner with global teams, manage master data, and strengthen decision-making through scalable data products and governance best practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• 5–8 years of experience in business data analysis, data stewardship, or governance.
• Experience working across global teams in a matrix organization.
• Ability to translate requirements into data definitions and technical specs.
• Strong understanding of ERP systems and data workflows.

Responsibilities

• Partner with global procurement, Finance, IT and data teams to define data requirements.
• Apply data governance standards across procurement data lifecycle.
• Maintain datasets, mappings, hierarchies, metadata and business rules.
• Define and validate transformation logic across ERP systems and data lakes.
• Lead data quality initiatives, root cause analysis and remediation.
