Job summary

Medtronic seeks a Senior Market Access Analytics Specialist to join the Corporate Global Health Economics, Policy, and Reimbursement team. You will develop data-driven insights using healthcare data assets to shape reimbursement strategies and economic value messaging.

You will work with hospital and payer price transparency and claims data, using SQL and analytics tools to produce dashboards and reports for cross-functional stakeholders in HEPR, pricing, marketing, and strategy.

Qualifications

• Must have at least a bachelor’s degree and 4 years of healthcare analytics experience (or 2 years with an advanced degree).
• Experience with price transparency data and administrative claims data is a plus.
• Proven ability to translate complex data into actionable insights for HEPR, pricing, marketing, and strategy.
• Experience writing SQL to query, join, transform, and validate large healthcare datasets.
• Strong communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Conduct analytics using large healthcare datasets (price transparency data, commercial and Medicare claims).
• Query and summarize large data files using SQL to evaluate reimbursement variation.
• Develop analytic datasets and reusable code for payer/provider reimbursement analyses.
• Collaborate with HEPR, pricing, marketing, and strategy to translate questions into analytic approaches.
• Create dashboards and reports that clearly communicate findings to cross-functional partners.
• Support scalable analytic tools and documentation for data governance.
