Obsidian Solutions Group is seeking a Senior Maritime Maneuver Operations Analyst – Exercise Planner to support USMC MEF/MEB integration with Navy/Maritime components. Responsibilities include scenario development, exercise lifecycle planning, and after-action analysis for MEF/MEB-level events.

Ideal candidates bring 10+ years in naval operational planning, advanced joint doctrine knowledge, and experience leading MSEL-based maritime scenarios. Travel 30-40% to key exercise sites is expected.

Qualificações

• 10+ years of operational experience with U.S. Navy forces at the operational level.
• 8+ years knowledge of doctrine and command relationships at the operational level.
• Knowledge of Marine Corps and joint planning processes for Maritime Maneuver.
• Senior staff planning experience in JOPP and/or U.S. Navy Planning Process.
• Experience writing CJCSM 3130.03A/NATO-style orders and formats.
• Experience planning at conceptual, functional, and detailed levels for service and joint organizations.
• Understanding of strike and information warfare concepts.
• Completion of Intermediate and Senior Service School.

Responsabilidades

• Support all phases of the Joint Exercise Life Cycle (JELC) and contribute to force readiness.
• Develop scenario products and build staff roles with H&AHQ relationships.
• Produce operation orders at COCOM/JTF/Fleet level and capture training objectives.
• Lead development of scripted, scenario-based maritime events within MSEL.
• Chair a Maneuver Working Group to translate objectives into training activities.
• Advise officers on exercise execution to ensure training objectives are met.
• Adjust hours to support extended operations during events.
• Conduct tactical and operational planning for joint headquarters and components.
• Research existing operational concepts and plans and analyze data.
• Plan lessons and seminars on naval and joint doctrine for senior officers.
• Review orders and documentation to support exercise design and planning.
