Job summary

KCI Technologies, Inc. is hiring a Sr. Engineering Designer – Diver for our Maryland team, focusing on underwater inspections, structural design, and project execution. You will contribute to plan development from concept through construction, utilizing MicroStation, AutoCAD and Revit in a collaborative, safety-conscious environment.

The position requires 4+ years of experience, ABET-accredited engineering education, and PE eligibility; travel and certifications are part of this role as needed.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited engineering bachelor's degree.
• Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience.
• Proficiency with MicroStation, AutoCAD, or Revit.
• Strong communication and technical writing skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct underwater inspections of structures such as bridges, barges, piers, wharves, marinas, ports, bulkheads, and seawalls.
• Perform condition inspections and quality control inspections for construction projects.
• Engage in structural design and analysis of marine structures.
• Prepare detailed technical reports and oversee the plan development process from concept through final construction plans for new structures, rehabilitations, and repairs.
