Job summary

Stantec is seeking a highly qualified senior structural engineer specializing in marine and waterfront design to support our transportation practice in New England. The role requires leadership of teams through design and construction administration for complex waterfront projects.

The position may involve field work (some from a boat) and requires travel within the New England area; office-based work is typical with a hybrid schedule.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering from an accredited university.
• Minimum of ten years of relevant structural marine and waterfront structures experience.
• PE licensure in a New England state with ability to obtain licensure in others within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Performs marine and waterfront engineering assignments with strong technical application.
• Oversees engineering planning and design at key project stages.
• Mentors entry- and intermediate-level engineers on technical work.
