The selected candidate will manage and technically lead teams in design and construction administration of complex waterfront projects for public and private clients.
The role requires five years of structural marine experience, PE licensure, and ability to travel within the region.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering from an accredited university.
- Minimum of five years of relevant structural marine and waterfront experience.
- Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in a New England state with ability to obtain licensure in others within 6 months.
Responsibilities
- Performs structural marine and waterfront engineering assignments… sound application of codes.
- Oversees engineering planning and design at key project stages.
- Analyzes complex problems and proposes new solutions.
- Prepares and coordinates project deliverables including contract documents.
- Reviews and seals contract deliverables.
- Performs independent technical and quality reviews.
- Adapts procedures to address unusual situations and resolve issues.
- Ensures procedures are applied consistently with continuous improvement.
