Position Overview
Kiewit is expanding its design team specializing in Marine & Coastal Resiliency (MCR) and is seeking top performing contributors to support and sustain its growth. We are currently looking for a Senior Marine Structural Engineer specializing in marine infrastructure projects. This role offers a unique opportunity to act as an internal engineer at Kiewit, utilizing our resources and expertise to ensure design work adheres to the best constructability standards.
The Senior Marine Structural Engineer will collaborate with an interdisciplinary team including coastal, civil, and geotechnical engineers, as well as estimators, schedulers, and construction professionals to deliver services for MCR projects.
Responsibilities include leading preliminary and detailed structural design efforts, supporting engineering integration, managing design, mentoring team members, and contributing to estimating, scheduling, and planning. The role also involves engaging with Operating Districts to build strong relationships and understand their engineering needs in marine, ports, maritime, and coastal projects. The ideal candidate will bring energy, enthusiasm, collaboration, and leadership to meet project quality and safety goals.
