COWI Seattle is seeking a Senior Marine Structural Engineer to join our Marine Practice. You will collaborate with a global team of experts and deliver marine infrastructure projects across North America, under the direction of Technical Directors and Project Managers.

The role includes design and analysis of concrete and steel structures, travel to field sites, and hands-on client interaction. We offer a hybrid work model, generous benefits, and ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• MS or higher in Structural Engineering with 10+ years' experience.
• Professional Engineer license required.
• Willingness to travel and perform fieldwork.
• Strong written and spoken communication and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform broad structural engineering tasks on marine infrastructure projects.
• Design concrete, steel, deep foundations, and earth retaining structures.
• Ensure designs meet codes, standards, and client requirements.
• Prepare calculations, reports, and memoranda.
• Prepare construction drawings and technical specifications.
• Conduct site inspections and construction administration.
