Job summary

The McHenry Management Group is seeking a Project / Field Engineer to support the construction of a 347-foot vessel for The Dutra Group at Eastern Shipbuilding Group. This 24-month position requires oversight of field engineering, adherence to technical compliance, and coordination among multiple stakeholders.

Candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree in engineering and 5-10 years' experience in shipbuilding. Responsibilities include managing project milestones, supporting production teams, and ensuring regulatory adherence. This role requires a strong hands-on engineering approach and proficiency in marine systems.

Qualifications

• 5-10 years of shipyard, new construction, or systems engineering experience.
• Strong knowledge of shipboard systems: propulsion, electrical, hydraulics, automation.
• Excellent coordination and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day field engineering operations at shipyard.
• Coordinate between production and engineering teams for technical clarifications.
