Job summary

The McHenry Management Group in the Town of Florida is seeking a Marine Field Engineer to support the final outfitting of two complex Multipurpose Support Vessels (MPSVs). This role involves overseeing installation of mechanical, electrical, and auxiliary systems, interpreting engineering documents, and ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s Degree in Marine Engineering or equivalent experience, must possess excellent communication skills, and be willing to work full time on-site. Preferred qualifications include familiarity with Hornbeck Offshore projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or 10 years direct marine engineering field experience.
• Extensive familiarity with offshore support vessel systems.
• Strong knowledge of ABS, USCG, and IMO compliance standards.

Responsibilities

• Oversee final installation of mechanical and electrical systems.
• Interpret engineering drawings to ensure compliance.
• Support troubleshooting during commissioning.
