Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience with marine hydraulic systems.
• Excellent troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
• Ability to read and interpret hydraulic schematics and technical drawings.
• Professional communication with captains, engineers, owners, vendors and shipyards.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain hydraulic systems aboard yachts and marine vessels.
• Install and service hydraulic pumps, motors, valves, cylinders, hoses, fittings, manifolds and related components.
• Read schematics and perform hydraulic testing, flushing, and commissioning.
• Repair and replace valves, fittings, hoses, seals, and related components.
• Troubleshoot stabilizer, steering, passerelle, davit, thruster and other yacht hydraulic systems.
• Work with captains, engineers, owners, vendors and shipyards; complete jobs safely and on schedule.
• Support junior technicians and assist with technical problem-solving when needed.
