THE MCHENRY MANAGEMENT GROUP, LLC is seeking a Senior Marine Engineer to lead ship completion and delivery efforts for HOS 369/370 at the Port St. Joe facility. The role requires extensive shipyard and marine design experience and will involve on-site problem solving and coordination with multiple teams.

The position emphasizes hands-on leadership, minimal supervision, and travel as required to ensure successful startup, testing, and regulatory closeout for the vessels.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in marine engineering, shipbuilding, repair, or conversion.
• Ability to work in shipyards and aboard vessels during construction, repair, or completion.
• Strong understanding of marine machinery and shipboard systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide senior-level onsite marine engineering support for HOS 369/370 during completion, startup, testing, commissioning, and delivery.
• Independently investigate and resolve engineering issues affecting construction completion, system operation, testing, and vessel delivery.
• Support startup and commissioning of main propulsion, auxiliary machinery, piping, exhaust, fuel, cooling, lubrication, and shipboard mechanical systems.
• Troubleshoot machinery and system problems identified during installation, startup, testing, and operation.
• Review and develop engineering drawings, sketches, redlines, technical dispositions, calculations, and other documentation required to support production and vessel completion.
