Job summary

Weeks Marine is seeking an experienced construction Superintendent to supervise craft employees and ensure projects are completed safely and on time. Based in Hawaii/Pacific region, you will coordinate with engineers, job teams, and foremen, driving productivity while controlling costs.

The ideal candidate brings 10+ years in construction with supervisory experience, strong leadership, and a solid grasp of safety regulations and project planning.

Qualifications

• 10+ years' construction experience with 5–10 years in supervision.
• Heavy civil/marine infrastructure knowledge preferred.
• Experience with ports, docks, wharves, piers, bridges or waterfronts.
• Capable of running multiple crews across scopes.
• Familiar with safety regulations, scheduling and cost control.
• Proficient in interpreting engineering drawings.
• Demonstrated craft supervision and evaluation abilities.
• General computer skills; Word and Excel proficiency.
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
• Experience with cranes is a plus.
• Ability to lead and inspire others.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the crew(s) and craft workers on projects.
• Manage productivity, safety, quality and schedule adherence.
• Collaborate with engineers and job teams to determine needs.
• Utilize resources to maximize production and control costs.
• Set performance goals and deadlines.
• Coordinate with superintendents and foremen for workflow.
• Resolve conflicts, scheduling issues and inform management.
• Assist in planning craft labor, materials, and equipment.
• Track material stock and orders.
• Ensure safety, attendance and behavior policies are followed.
• Perform additional assignments as directed.
