Job summary

Posillico Civil, Inc. seeks a Civil Superintendent to lead a marine-heavy construction project. You will manage crews and subcontractors to deliver safely, on time, and within budget, reporting to the Division Manager.

The role requires a B.S. in civil/environmental engineering and 3–5 years of superintendent experience on large contracts; marine experience is essential, with NYS DOT familiarity preferred. Strong leadership, coordination, and communication are key assets.

Qualifications

• B.S. degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering or related field is required.
• 3–5 years of related superintendent experience on contracts of $10M+ is preferred.
• Marine-specific project experience is required.
• Experience in heavy construction (site-work, roads or environmental) is preferred.
• Experience with NYS DOT is preferred.
• Strong communication, organization and ability to meet deadlines are essential.

Responsibilities

• Lead all crews and subcontractors to complete the project safely, on time and on budget.
• Oversee site safety, OSHA compliance and adherence to safety protocols.
• Coordinate with Project Manager, Division Manager and field staff; manage daily reports and look-ahead planning.
• Plan four weeks in advance with crews, equipment, and material needs; ensure schedules are met.
• Direct Foremen, subcontractors, and field personnel to execute tasks efficiently.
