Job summary

Posillico Civil, Inc. seeks a Project Superintendent in Houston to lead all crews and subcontractors, ensuring safety, on-time, and on-budget project completion. You will manage daily planning, scheduling, and coordination with project management and field staff.

The ideal candidate will have a B.S. in Civil/Environmental Engineering and 3–5 years in superintendent roles on large contracts, with strong bridge and heavy-civil construction knowledge. Texas experience preferred.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Civil, Environmental Engineering or related field; 3–5 years of superintendent experience on contracts of $10M+.
• Experience supporting excavation and piles; or sewer/waste plants; or heavy site-work.
• Strong knowledge of bridge construction methods, formwork, concrete work, and steel retrofits.

Responsibilities

• Safety: ensure on-site safety per the safety manual; OSHA standards; report incidents.
• Administrative: submit daily time sheets by 9am; assist Estimating with future work.
• Scheduling: coordinate with subcontractors and utilities; plan material needs; daily updates.
• Planning: develop 4-week look-ahead; review cost reports; coordinate with PM/Engineer.
• Supervision: oversee labor to ensure tasks are carried out.
