Job summary

BDI Marine Contractors, LLC is seeking a Senior Construction Project Manager to oversee multiple marine and civil projects from start to finish. The role requires leadership in budgets, schedules, subcontractors, and client relationships across Florida.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years in construction management, a track record with multimillion-dollar projects, and strong knowledge of safety practices and scheduling. Travel to project sites across the state is expected.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of construction management experience, marine or heavy civil strongly preferred.
• Proven track record managing multimillion-dollar projects from pre-construction to closeout.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, cost control, scheduling, and safety practices.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, project management software, and digital plan review tools.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to project sites across Florida.

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of assigned construction projects.
• Oversee project budgets, schedules, cost tracking, and change orders.
• Manage subcontractors, suppliers, and field teams to ensure quality and safety standards are met.
• Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and resolve field issues.
• Coordinate with engineers, inspectors, and permitting agencies as needed.
• Communicate effectively with clients and internal stakeholders to ensure expectations are met.
• Prepare and maintain accurate project documentation, reports, and closeout packages.
