Job summary

BDI Marine Contractors, LLC in Florida seeks an experienced Foreman to oversee daily job site operations on marine and civil projects. You will coordinate crews, read blueprints, and ensure work is completed on schedule, within budget, and to safety and quality standards.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years in construction with supervisory experience, strong leadership and communication skills, and the ability to manage materials and equipment on outdoor sites.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years in construction with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to read and understand blueprints and project plans.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Must be able to work outdoors in varying conditions.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily work activities of crews on assigned projects.
• Enforce safety procedures and ensure OSHA compliance at all times.
• Read and interpret plans, specifications, and drawings.
• Monitor progress and adjust schedules as needed to meet deadlines.
• Communicate with Project Managers, Superintendents, and subcontractors.
• Ensure materials and equipment are available and properly used.
• Conduct daily job site meetings and maintain detailed reports/logs.
• Train and mentor crew members to improve performance and efficiency.
