Job summary

Pine Bluff Sand & Gravel Co. (PBSGC) in Louisiana is seeking an experienced Heavy Civil Construction Superintendent to manage marine civil projects and oversee field crews in the Louisiana area and surrounding states as assigned.

You will report to the Marine Construction Division Manager, supervise assets including vessels, barges, and equipment, and ensure projects are completed on time and within budget while upholding PBSGC safety standards and company benefits.

Qualifications

• Degree preferred in Engineering/Construction; experience considered in lieu of degree.
• Civil construction management experience required.
• Proficient with MS Office for reports and scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Oversee safe and efficient management of marine civil projects.
• Lead field personnel, mobilize crew/equipment, and manage assets.
• Coordinate permits and inspections as needed.
• Ensure site safety culture and conduct weekly safety meetings.
• Provide performance feedback and mentorship to foremen and superintendents.
• Maintain daily work reports and project documentation.
