Job summary

Saft, a global battery company, is seeking a Sr. Test Engineer in the United States (Maryland area) to lead test planning, design, and QA for Saft products.

You will collaborate with product design and quality teams, develop robust test procedures, and mentor QA staff to ensure peak product performance while maintaining industry standards. The role requires 7-10 years of manufacturing test experience, proficiency with testing tools (Apache, Selenium, JMeter, TestStand, LabVIEW), and strong

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or computer engineering.
• 7-10 years previous work experience as a Manufacturing Test Engineer.
• Familiarity with testing tools including Apache, Selenium, JMeter, TestStand, or LabVIEW.
• Knowledge of diagramming software including Gliffy, Microsoft Visio, and AutoCAD.
• Extensive knowledge of engineering and testing procedures.
• Experience with VBA and Python.
• Good critical thinking skills.
• Ability to project manage.
• High-level technical writing skills.
• MUST BE A US CITIZEN OR GREEN CARD HOLDER

Responsibilities

• Meet with the product design team to determine product testing parameters.
• Write test plans and create test cases for the product.
• Conduct quality assurance and design performance tests using testing procedures.
• Troubleshoot any errors and streamline the testing procedures.
• Write up the final quality assurance and test procedures for the quality technicians.
• Train the quality assurance staff and provide technical support when needed.
• Ensure all tests and procedures meet company and industry standards.
• Prepare test reports for managers.
