Job summary

Harvey Nash is seeking a Manufacturing Test Engineer in North Reading, MA to drive the integration and execution of SMB initiatives within our Retail ecosystem. Qualifications

• 5+ years designing, deploying, and scaling manufacturing test systems for complex electromechanical products (HIL testing).
• Manufacturing test engineering for electromechanical or robotic products in NPI/prototype and high-volume production.
• Own test strategy for a new product from concept through volume production.
• Hands-on in-line and end-of-line testing, pass/fail criteria, and SPC data collection.
• Proficiency in test software/frameworks (LabVIEW, NI TestStand, Python automation) and DAQ/instrumentation specs.

Here are some of the specific details:

Job Title: Manufacturing Test Engineer

Location: North Reading, MA

Duration: 6+ Months

Minimum Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience designing, deploying, and scaling manufacturing test systems for complex electromechanical products — including hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) testing.
• Manufacturing test engineering experience for electromechanical or robotic products, including experience spanning both NPI/prototype and high-volume production environments.
• Experience owning manufacturing test strategy for a new product introduction (NPI) from concept through volume production.
• Hands-on experience developing and deploying in-line and end-of-line functional test systems, including test sequence creation, pass/fail criteria definition, and parametric/SPC data collection.
• Proficiency in test software/frameworks (e.g., LabVIEW, NI TestStand, Python-based test automation or custom solutions) and DAQ/instrumentation specification.

A reasonable, good faith estimate of the minimum andmaximum for this position is $80 to $85/hour
