Job summary

Wabtec is seeking a Manufacturing Test Engineer to develop and maintain automated tests, fixtures, and scripts for Board and Assembly level testing across manufacturing and repair facilities.

You will work with a cross-functional team to define test strategies, validate hardware, and produce supporting documentation while applying industry standards and best practices. This role emphasizes hands-on testing and collaboration.

Qualifications

• Degree in EE/CS and 6+ years of related experience.
• Experience automating tests and writing scripts.
• Familiarity with Linux-based RTOS like QNX/FreeRTOS.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain production tests, fixtures, and scripts.
• Build and validate production test requirements and documentation.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to drive test strategy and standardization.
• Review designs for testability, cost, and compliance.
• Investigate and resolve product failures in manufacturing.
• Train production staff on new tests and procedures.
