Job summary

Werfen in Bedford, MA seeks a Senior Manufacturing Test Engineer to design, develop, and validate automated test systems for electromechanical medical diagnostics equipment. You will own test fixture development lifecycle and collaborate with R&D, Quality, and Manufacturing to deliver robust, scalable solutions.

The role requires strong skills in TestStand, LabVIEW, Python, and version control; experience with DoE, IQ/OQ/PQ, RCA, and working in regulated environments is a plus.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Engineering and a minimum of 12 years of experience in product development or an M.S. Degree and at least 8 years of experience in product development.
• Experience in technical support for manufacturing instrumentation and/or disposables preferred.
• Experience in Lean and Six Sigma problem solving methodologies preferred.

Responsibilities

• Leads and develops new test methods for manufacturing, including defining specifications and fixtures.
• Champion design for test (DfT) to improve testability.
• Perform data analysis, RCA, and drive corrective actions.
