To keep pace in this exciting, multi-disciplinary field, we’re looking for a Sr. Manufacturing Test Engineer. You will be in a unique position to build the solution from the ground up:

  • Architect & Develop the Solution: Develop the end-to-end Manufacturing Test Solution (ICT, FCT, Burn-in, and System Level Test) for high-performance AI servers.
  • Own the Lifecycle: From NPI (New Product Introduction) to high-volume manufacturing (HVM), you will lead the deployment of test solutions at our Tier-1 Contract Manufacturers (CMs).
  • Software & Automation: Develop and maintain sophisticated test scripts and automation frameworks that minimize human intervention and maximize throughput.
  • Diagnostics & Utilities: Collaborate with Hardware and Software teams to leverage and/or develop custom diagnostics that functionally exercise and stress the AI accelerator, high-speed interconnects, and memory subsystems.
  • This hands‑on multi-disciplinary role provides a unique opportunity to interact directly with ASIC, Hardware, and Software teams to gather necessary requirements and specifications, and develop and deploy the manufacturing test solution for a complex, high‑performance hardware system, from PCB and PCBA through full system‑level testing.
Responsibilities
  • Strategy & Development: Define, design, and own the development of comprehensive manufacturing test strategies for hardware at the PCB, PCBA, and final system levels.
  • Automation & Support: Develop and maintain automated manufacturing test solutions deployed within factory and contract manufacturing environments.
  • Debugging & Root-Cause Analysis: Perform debugging and root‑cause analysis for hardware, board‑level, and system‑level failures encountered during manufacturing and product bring‑up.
  • Cross‑Functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with Hardware Design, Validation, Manufacturing, and Quality teams to ensure robust test coverage, drive yield improvement, and optimize manufacturability.
  • Test Execution & Deployment: Support PCBA manufacturing testing, including Boundary Scan, Functional Test, and System Integration Testing, and partner with Contract Manufacturers for test deployment, sustainment, and issue resolution.
  • Data Infrastructure: Develop test software, Graphical User Interfaces (GUIs), and supporting infrastructure necessary for manufacturing data collection, traceability, and analysis.
Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a closely related technical field.
  • Experience: 10 or more years of experience in developing manufacturing tests for hardware products.
  • Core Expertise: Demonstrated, hands‑on proficiency in:

  • Hardware validation and bring‑up procedures.
  • Designing and developing tests within manufacturing settings.
  • Manufacturing Support: Proven experience supporting PCBA manufacturing lines or working with contract manufacturers (CMs).
  • Test Automation: Strong understanding of manufacturing test automation, including:
  • Automated functional testing.
  • Factory test infrastructure management.
  • Test data collection and subsequent analysis.
  • Software Development: Experience developing test software utilizing:
  • Python and/or C/C++.
  • Linux‑based operating environments.
  • Tooling & Infrastructure: Familiarity with relevant test tooling and infrastructure, such as:
  • GUI‑based test applications.
  • Databases (e.g., MySQL / SQL).
