Job summary

Qualifications

• BSCS/EE or other engineering discipline; MS/M CS degree preferred.
• 5 years of test experience.
• Experience developing test plans, cases, and scripts.
• Experience using software testing tools.
• Experience in world-wide, multi-CM, volume and high mix manufacturing environments.
• Solid understanding of the product development cycle, with hands-on test development experience.
• Python and Bash scripting.

Responsibilities

• Drive Design for Test to ensure production-ready test processes are delivered into manufacturing.
• Develop and implement unit testing through test automation tools/scripts.
• Participate in design specification reviews and technical documentation reviews.
• Create testing and performance summary reports and communicate results to cross-functional engineering teams.
• Drive technical issues to closure and prioritize defects based on business impact.
• Provide technical leadership to innovate and improve test engineering solutions.
• Achieve optimal production test coverage, test features, test time, and margins for product confidence.

We are building our operations team and seeking a Manufacturing Test Engineer who will define, develop, and support test solutions for new product introduction and production in an outsourced manufacturing environment. This position will also be responsible for the development and deployment of hardware and software test solutions that can scale across product platforms and global manufacturing locations. The Manufacturing Test Engineer will establish methodologies and frameworks to implement and execute test automation tools and product reporting.

Responsibilities

• Drive Design for Test related efforts to ensure sustainable production ready test processes are delivered into manufacturing
• Responsible for developing and implementation of unit testing through test automation tools/scripts
• Participate in design specification reviews and technical documentation reviews
• Create testing and performance summary reports while clearly communicating all testing results to cross functional technical Engineering teams.
• Ability to drive technical issues to closure
• Prioritize defects to be fixed using an understanding of the business requirements and potential impact to the end user
• Provide technical leadership to strive for innovation, can-do approach to test engineering and solutions
• Achieve optimal production test coverage, test features, test time, a manufacturing test margins for the highest product confidence
