Job summary

Corning Incorporated in Tolleson, AZ, is seeking a Manufacturing Technology Manager to lead the Process and Equipment Technician teams, and to drive safe, stable, and efficient manufacturing performance.

You will partner with Operations and Engineering to enable production readiness for new technologies, lead training, and advance continuous improvement initiatives across high‑volume automated manufacturing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Manufacturing, Industrial Technology, or related field.
• 10+ years of experience in manufacturing, engineering, maintenance, or technical operations.
• Leadership experience managing technical teams.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary escalation point for technical, process, and equipment issues; lead root cause investigations and drive corrective actions.
• Partner with Operations and Engineering to support production readiness for new technologies, equipment, and process improvements.
• Lead, coach, and develop teams of Process and Equipment Technicians with staffing and development plans.
• Own technical training strategy, documentation, and SOPs across manufacturing areas; monitor training effectiveness.
• Drive Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement initiatives focused on yield, throughput, downtime reduction, and cost performance.
