Job summary

MilliporeSigma in Cleveland, OH is seeking an experienced Manufacturing Technician 4 to receive raw materials, produce batches, and perform complex manufacturing tasks under strict regulatory controls. The role includes training peers, supervising core operations, and ensuring quality and safety across the shift.

The position requires 5+ years in chemical manufacturing, High School diploma or GED, and familiarity with GDP/ALCOA documentation.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a Manufacturing Technician or chemical manufacturing role.
• High School education or GED is required.
• Experience with ISO9001/14001/45001 Management Systems is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Shift hours: Monday – Friday, 6:00 – 2:30pm.
• Safely unload, inspect, verify, and transport raw materials and inventory.
• Operate reactors, centrifuges, tumbler dryers, distillation equipment, and solvent pumps to manufacture chemical products.
• Produce products meeting strict purity, quality, and SOP requirements, including sampling for QC testing.
• Maintain a proactive safety culture by adhering to SDS, PPE, and safety inspections.
• Accurately complete batch records and GDP/ALCOA-compliant documentation.
