Job summary

Takeda is seeking a Manufacturing Technician III in Round Lake, IL to execute production processes in a cGMP environment. You will follow safety guidelines, rewrite or create procedures, and guide a shift under supervision to ensure quality and schedule adherence.

You will troubleshoot equipment, operate filling/inspection/packaging lines, maintain documentation, and participate in improvement initiatives. This role requires English proficiency and ability to work all shifts in a 2-2-3 rotation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 4+ years of related work experience or AA degree or higher with 2+ years related work experience.
• Must be able to speak, read, write, and follow detailed written and oral instructions in English.
• Good interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a team.
• Understanding of cGMP regulations and pharmaceutical production equipment.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot process & equipment problems to minimize downtime.
• Lead production activities and coordinate with maintenance/metrology for preventative maintenance.
• Operate production equipment (filling, inspection, packaging) and document results per GDP/GMP.
• Receive and distribute supplies, prep components and set up for next shift.
• Participate in Continuous Improvement Teams and safety activities.
