Job summary

Takeda is seeking a Manufacturing Tech I to convert raw materials into finished goods per cGMP and safety guidelines. You will document procedures, train others, and participate in quality teams, reporting to the Supervisor, Manufacturing.

Shift is 6:00PM–6:30AM on a 2-2-3 rotation; responsibilities include operating tools, processing batches, assembling components, and packaging finished goods. Requires HS diploma or GED with 1+ yr experience or an associate degree, plus safety and MS Office

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 1+ years related experience, or an associate degree or higher.
• Knowledge of cGMP manufacturing practices.
• Familiarity with autoclaves, process tanks, incubators, analytical equipment and CIP/SIP systems.
• Able to work with metric and US measurement systems.
• Knowledge of basic chemical and biological safety procedures.
• Proficient with MS Word and Excel.
• Immunization may be required for work in manufacturing areas.

Responsibilities

• Perform general production manufacturing work.
• Assemble finished components into products.
• Process batches of bulk materials/ingredients (mechanical and chemical).
• Set up and operate machine tools to make parts and assemblies.
• Conduct surface finishing of parts and assemblies.
• Package materials or finished goods for protection and handling.
• Collaborate with team members to hit production goals.
