Job summary

Celestica, Inc. seeks a Manufacturing Technical Lead to drive execution and technical readiness for next‑generation hardware programs from concept through mass production handoff.

You will bridge hardware design, software/firmware, and factory NPI, mitigating risks and ensuring prototyping milestones with rigorous documentation and change control. A strong background in hardware NPI and a bachelor’s degree in engineering are required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in hardware NPI, manufacturing leadership, or systems program management.
• Strong knowledge of electronic manufacturing operations (SMT, box build, system assembly, test).
• Proficiency with change control systems (PLM/CCB) and documenting technical work such as SOWs.

Responsibilities

• Translate complex engineering intents into execution directives for factory NPI managers and sites.
• Partner with Front-End, Back-End, and Test Engineering managers to scale infrastructure with prototyping phases.
• Collaborate with Design Leads and Software PMs to align code, firmware, diagnostics, and silicon readiness with test schedules.
• Own the execution matrix for Proto, EVT, DVT, and PVT builds ensuring on-time delivery and quality targets.
• Author and enforce build-specific Scopes of Work with clear baselines and material allocations.
• Manage live tracking of anomalies and enforce controlled engineering deviations and documentation.
• Lead Change Control governance, representing operations at Change Control Boards.
