Job summary

PerkinElmer's Project Farma division seeks a Manufacturing & Tech Ops - Senior Manager to lead end-to-end program management for complex operations initiatives, including new product introductions, technology transfers, process validations, and facility fit assessments. This is a full-time US-based role with domestic travel.

Qualifications

• 7–13+ years of engineering or operations experience in pharma/biotech.
• Experience leading cross-functional programs or tech transfer projects in GMP environments.
• Strong organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead or support end-to-end program management for complex technical operations initiatives including new product introductions, technology transfers, process validations, and facility fit assessments.
• Develop integrated program plans, critical path analyses, risk registers, and resource plans; identify and mitigate risks and issues.
• Own stage-gate processes and governance deliverables, ensuring milestones are met on time, within scope, and aligned to regulatory commitments.
• Coordinate cross-functional workstreams across Manufacturing, Process Development, Quality, Regulatory Affairs, Supply Chain, and Engineering.
• Translate scientific and process requirements into executable operational plans; ensure staff awareness of CPP and CQA.
• Support technology transfer activities from development into GMP manufacturing, including documentation, gap assessments, and readiness reviews.
• Facilitate resolution of technical, operational, and quality issues during operations, startup or shutdown of manufacturing equipment.
• Develop manufacturing batch records, SOPs or validation protocols as required.
• Conduct operational readiness assessments evaluating equipment, facility, material flow, and training needs.
• Support alignment with senior leadership and external collaborators; drive trade-off decisions as needed.
• Prepare and deliver program status reports, executive briefings, and governance presentations.
• Lead, coach and develop a team of technical professionals to meet project and client objectives.
