Job summary

Project Farma, a PerkinElmer company, is seeking a Manufacturing & Tech Ops - Manager/Senior Manager to lead teams and oversee the execution of work aligned to project, client, and business objectives.

The role balances people leadership with operational accountability, including coaching, resource planning, and ensuring high-quality delivery within scope, timelines, and budget. Travel may be required for client assignments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Life Science, Engineering, or related discipline.
• 7–13+ years of experience in engineering or operations in pharma/biotech/manufacturing environments.
• Experience leading cross-functional programs or technology transfer projects in GMP environments.
• Understanding of pharmaceutical development and manufacturing processes (biologics, small molecules, or both).
• Working knowledge of cGMP regulations (FDA 21 CFR Parts 210/211, ICH, EMA).
• Experience with continuous improvement tools and methods.
• Strong organizational and stakeholder management skills.
• Willingness to travel for client project assignments.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end program management for complex technical operations initiatives (new product introductions, tech transfers, process validations).
• Develop integrated program plans, critical path analyses, risk registers, and resource plans; manage risks and issues.
• Own stage-gate processes and governance deliverables; ensure milestones hit on time and within scope.
• Coordinate cross-functional workstreams across Manufacturing, Process Development, Quality, Regulatory, Supply Chain, and Engineering.
• Translate science and process requirements into executable operational plans and CPP/CQA awareness.
• Support technology transfer activities from development into GMP manufacturing; documentation and readiness reviews.
• Facilitate resolution of technical, operational, and quality issues during operations or equipment startup/shutdown.
• Develop manufacturing batch records, SOPs, or validation protocols as required.
• Conduct operational readiness assessments covering equipment, facility, materials, and training needs.
