Job summary

Vertiv’s Sr. Manufacturing Engineering Technician in Anderson, SC drives continuous improvement across facilities.

You will analyze processes, maintain standard work and SOPs, and lead Lean initiatives while providing CAD support and SME guidance. This role partners with Safety, Quality, Maintenance, Design Engineering, and Manufacturing Engineering teams to meet safety, quality, and productivity objectives.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in a technical manufacturing function.
• Ability to read, write, and maintain SOPs and engineering records.
• Experience in CAD and interpreting engineering drawings.
• Effective communication across large multi-facility environments.
• Strong problem-solving and continuous improvement mindset.
• English proficiency, both spoken and written.
• Knowledge of 5S, Lean, SPC, RCA tools.
• Ability to lead small projects and cross-functional teams.
• SME capability and mentorship.
• Safety, quality and regulatory awareness.

Responsibilities

• Implement and sustain new manufacturing processes.
• Support DFMs and monitor engineering project milestones for production integration.
• Modify CAD drawings and provide engineering support.
• Lead Lean initiatives to improve safety, quality, productivity and efficiency.
• Develop, maintain, and improve SOPs, standard work, and process control documentation.
• Analyze manufacturing and quality issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
