Job summary

Skydio, Inc. in the United States seeks a Senior Operations Systems Engineer to build world-class manufacturing and operations systems across our scaling US facilities.

You will evaluate make-vs-buy options, integrate 3P apps, and develop Palantir-based solutions that connect NetSuite, Arena, Jira, and in-house MES to boost productivity and profitability. You will partner with production, supply chain, quality, planning, and engineering to define requirements, manage 3P implementations, and

Qualifications

• Experience as an implementation lead for Palantir Foundry or similar products.
• Working knowledge of SQL, Python, and Java for data pipelines and applications.
• Deep knowledge of MES, MRP and PLM in manufacturing environments.
• Ability to design data structures and scalable data pipelines.
• Understanding of hardware and manufacturing business processes.
• Strong stakeholder management and ability to operate in ambiguity.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with production, supply chain, quality, planning, and engineering to assess needs.
• Conduct make vs buy decisions to meet company requirements.
• Manage 3P implementation projects with milestones and vendor accountability.
• Develop and implement Palantir applications to optimize material flow, scheduling, and quality.
• Integrate new data sources while maintaining the Palantir ontology.
• Run regular project status meetings and produce proactive progress reports.
• Solicit feedback to drive continuous improvement across systems.
