ASML San Diego seeks a Senior Equipment Safety Engineer to lead machine and equipment safety for San Diego and KF operations. The role requires deep expertise in hazard assessment, safeguarding technologies, and regulatory compliance, with mentoring responsibilities for junior staff across time zones.

The candidate will own risk assessments, safety documentation, and drive continuous improvement while partnering with engineering, facilities, and operations to ensure safe manufacturing practices

Formación

• Recognized technical expert in machine safety and equipment safety engineering.
• Bachelor’s or higher in a related technical field; advanced degree preferred.
• 5+ years of safety experience in industrial/manufacturing settings; semiconductor/machinery exposure preferred.
• Professional certification preferred: CSP, CMSE, TUV Functional Safety Engineer, or equivalent.

Responsabilidades

• Serve as the senior technical safety authority for San Diego and KF safety teams.
• Mentor and develop junior and mid-level safety engineers; provide training and growth planning.
• Own safety and compliance documents and drive safety roadmaps for the Factory.
• Lead technical risk assessments (CDR, SRA, HAZOP) and incident investigations.
• Ensure equipment safety compliance with relevant standards (NRTL, SEMI) and safety procedures.
