ASML in San Diego seeks a senior Equipment Safety Engineer to lead machine safety, risk assessments, and regulatory compliance. You will direct safety strategy, mentor engineers, and drive improvements across San Diego and Korea Factory operations.

Responsibilities include leading CDR/HAZOP investigations, ensuring safeguarding and lab safety, and collaborating with engineering and facilities to mitigate risks.

Qualifications

• Recognized technical expert in machine safety and equipment safety principles.
• Experience with risk assessments and safeguarding technologies.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering field.

Responsabilités

• Serve as the senior technical safety authority for the San Diego and KF safety teams.
• Mentor and develop junior safety staff including on-the-job training and growth planning.
• Lead technical manufacturing risk assessments (CDR, SRA, HAZOP) and investigations.
• Ensure equipment safety and compliance with standards (NRTL, SEMI).
• Drive continuous improvement and safety culture across sites in San Diego and KF.
• Chair cross-functional safety committees and lead EHS initiatives.
