Job summary

Honda is seeking a Quality Engineer to lead manufacturing design quality improvements. You will independently analyze complex processes, drive corrective actions, and implement solutions that improve productivity, cost, and quality while serving as a technical resource for cross-functional teams.

With a focus on robust, compliant manufacturing practices, you will mentor junior engineers, develop quality plans, and track performance metrics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• At least 3 years in quality engineering, manufacturing engineering, or related field.
• Experience with root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Experience performing audits, validations, or process reviews.
• Cross-functional collaboration with engineering or manufacturing teams.
• Working knowledge of quality systems and regulatory standards.
• Demonstrated continuous improvement contributions.
• Technical leadership and mentoring of junior engineers.

Responsibilities

• Independently analyze manufacturing processes to identify quality risks and improvement opportunities.
• Lead root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Develop and execute quality plans, audits, and process validations.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to resolve quality issues.
