Job summary

Joseph Gallo Farms is seeking a hands-on Sr. Project Engineer to lead improvement projects at our Atwater manufacturing site. You will partner with operations, maintenance, quality, and external vendors to deliver safe, on-time, on-budget outcomes.

You will develop charters, budgets, schedules, and equipment specifications while driving design reviews and change control. Strong communication and problem-solving are essential for success.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in plant equipment or mechanical engineering.
• BS in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Proficiency in CAD and MS Office; familiarity with project management software.

Responsibilities

• Lead projects from ideation through design, procurement, installation, commissioning, and closeout.
• Develop project charters, scope, ROI, and detailed budgets.
• Create schedules, resource plans, and milestones to ensure on-time delivery.
• Develop equipment layouts, PFDs and P&IDs; specify equipment and RFQs/RFIs.
