Job summary

MSR Technology Group in Portland, OR is seeking a Senior Manufacturing Project Engineer to manage manufacturing facility expansions and capital equipment installations on a long-term contract. The role is onsite at Portland, OR 97217.

The ideal candidate will lead cross-functional teams, develop schedules in Microsoft Project, and ensure on-time, within-budget delivery of equipment and plant upgrades. Proficiency in AutoCAD and RFQ processes is required, with PMP preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, PM, Construction Management, or related field.
• 5+ years of project engineering or project management experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Hands-on experience with large capital equipment installations, such as conveyors, cranes, robotic systems, assembly equipment, or material handling systems.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Project, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and AutoCAD.
• Experience with RFQ development, equipment specifications, project scheduling, and budget tracking.
• Strong communication, organization, technical documentation, and problem-solving skills.

Pay Rate: $55.50/hour on W2 + Benefits

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate manufacturing facility expansions and capital equipment installation projects.

• Prepare equipment specifications, RFQs, scopes of work, and technical documentation.
