Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Manager, Program Level 1, to lead the Propulsion portfolio within the Mission Enabling Products unit in Commerce, CA. The role oversees program execution, staffing, and customer relations, ensuring cost and schedule adherence across the lifecycle from proposal through closeout.

The ideal candidate will direct a matrixed team, manage risk, and deliver clear program performance updates to stakeholders while working 100% on-site in California.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree with 5+ years of experience in aerospace program management or Master’s with 3+ years.
• U.S. Citizenship is required for employment.
• Experience leading program tasks on schedule and cost to meet all requirements.
• Experience building and leading diverse, inclusive teams and mentoring staff.
• Advanced MS Office Suite and MS Project skills.

Responsibilities

• Interface with Customer, Business Management, Contracts and Engineering to support program objectives and schedule.
• Lead cross-functional IPTs to meet cost, schedule and technical performance goals.
• Develop team structures, frameworks, and processes to optimize productivity and collaboration.
• Manage proposals, contracts, changes, budgets, schedules, and key terms.
• Cultivate customer relationships and drive opportunities within the customer community.
