Job summary

Acara Solutions seeks an experienced Manufacturing Assembler to join our client’s team in Rancho Santa Margarita, CA. The role focuses on assembling parts according to production standards in a fast-paced environment with strong attention to detail.

The candidate will perform mechanical assembly, wire prep, soldering, and rework on CCAs, following DWGs and work instructions. Onsite work with opportunities for growth and training within the manufacturing team.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Minimum 2 years computer skills: Outlook, Word, Excel, PDF, Teams, and online training capabilities.
  • Minimum 3 years mechanical assembly experience.
  • Minimum 3 years of soldering skills.
  • Good verbal and written English communications skills.
  • Proficient understanding of testing and troubleshooting of LRUs and circuit cards down to the component level including interpretation of a variety of schematics and wiring diagrams under the guidance of a test engineer and or Sr. Test technician as required

Responsibilities

  • Reads work orders, follows production drawings and sample assemblies, or receives verbal instructions regarding duties to be performed.
  • Identifies / labels CCAs & LRUs.
  • Integrates / assembles CCAs to chassis sub-assemblies.
  • Performs mechanical rework per rework instructions.
  • Performs final unit level clean-up.
  • Performs related duties and responsibilities as assigned.
  • Performs conformal coating masking, automated coating, coating removal & touch-up, bonding on CCAs.
  • Performs wire prep and basic wire wrap by understanding how to read and follow the Wire List, Cut List, and Work Instructions.

Summary

We are seeking an experienced Manufacturing Assembler to be responsible for assembling parts and components according to the company's production standards. The successful candidate will be able to work in a production environment and possess excellent attention to detail.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Primary Responsibilities

  • Reads work orders, follows production drawings and sample assemblies, or receives verbal instructions regarding duties to be performed.
  • Identifies / labels CCAs & LRUs.
  • Integrates / assembles CCAs to chassis sub-assemblies.
  • Performs mechanical rework per rework instructions.
  • Performs final unit level clean-up.
  • Performs related duties and responsibilities as assigned.
  • Performs conformal coating masking, automated coating, coating removal & touch-up, bonding on CCAs.
  • Performs wire prep and basic wire wrap by understanding how to read and follow the Wire List, Cut List, and Work Instructions.
  • Requires some assistance or instructions from the manufacturing engineer with normal drawing documentation data package. Can perform more complex assembly with engineering assistance.
  • Performs solder rework on CCAs with through hole and SMT components
  • Performs Wire Wrap at all levels from connector assembly to final unit assembly.
  • Comprehends our documentation such as DWGs, PLs, WLs, ECNs, EOs, and Work Instructions enough to identify any errors / required changes.
  • Requires minimal assistance or instructions from the manufacturing engineer with normal drawing documentation data package. Can perform more complex assembly with engineering assistance.
