Job summary

Radiac Abrasives, Inc. in Oswego, IL is seeking a Manufacturing Process Engineer to support daily productivity, quality, cost, and safety goals on the shop floor. You will drive continuous improvement, collaborate across functions, and implement new manufacturing processes and equipment.

The role emphasizes Lean and Six Sigma methodologies, data-driven decision making, and advancing process optimization while ensuring safe, reliable production and successful new product introductions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related technical field.
• Minimum of five years in manufacturing or process engineering.
• Lean and Six Sigma training required; Green Belt preferred.
• Black Belt is a plus; DOE training or experience preferred.
• Experience supporting process improvements, equipment implementation, and NPI.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Operations to resolve issues impacting productivity, quality, cost or safety.
• Lead continuous improvement projects to boost productivity and reduce costs.
• Drive Lean, Six Sigma and other problem-solving initiatives with cross-functional teams.
• Manage and report on project progress, barriers, and opportunities.
• Collaborate on evaluating new materials, equipment, and processes.
• Support new product introductions and equipment start-up for production.
• Participate in PQP reviews and approve production process docs.
