Celestica is seeking a Staff Engineer, Manufacturing Process in Austin, Texas to design, develop, deploy and optimize manufacturing processes, ensuring quality, cost, and delivery goals for Celestica and its customers.

The role involves managing customer-specific process development projects, defining technical scopes, coordinating teams across the full product life cycle, evaluating design concepts for manufacturability, and serving as a Subject Matter Expert in manufacturing standards with

Formación

7 to 10 years of related experience.
Bachelor degree or consideration of an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsabilidades

Responsible for understanding the customers technical roadmap and identifying and managing all new customer-specific process development projects.
Manage technical aspects for all new customer-specific process development projects.
Develop the scope of all technical work, coordinate the team, direct work assignments and assist with problem resolution for the full customer product life cycle support for all manufacturing technical issues related to the customers product(s) from product conception to product obsolescence.
Evaluate potential manufacturing impact for each design concept.
May also be considered the Subject Matter Expert in the company for specific sub-sector of manufacturing.
Responsible for the best practice standard development, participate in Industry organizations for developing the standards and provide training and application support globally.
