Job summary

MaxIT Consulting – Max Corporate Group seeks a Senior Financial Analyst to support plant accounting at a manufacturing facility in North Vernon, Indiana. This on-site contract role focuses on closing the books, standard costing, and inventory valuation, with SOX controls and reporting support.

You will collaborate with plant and corporate teams, assist with forecasts and budgets, and participate in cost studies and audits. The maternity-leave assignment is for 3 months with potential extension.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting is required.
• 5+ years of accounting experience in a manufacturing setting.
• Hands-on ERP experience required.
• Advanced Excel skills required.
• Strong business acumen and ethical practice.

Responsibilities

• Run the monthly close and maintain standard costs and inventory valuation.
• Maintain SOX controls and internal controls.
• Prepare journal entries and reconciliations for monthly close.
• Support forecasts, budgets, audits and cost studies.
• Assist with audits and track capital project spending.
