Cephas Consultancy Services Private Limited is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst on a contract basis in North Vernon, IN. The role focuses on plant accounting, data analysis, and supporting the Finance Manager with controls, budgeting, and reporting.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s in Accounting with at least five years in manufacturing, ERP experience, and a cost accounting background. This onsite position offers a three‑month term with potential extension based on business needs.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting
• Minimum of five years of accounting experience in a manufacturing environment
• Experience with an ERP system
• Cost accounting background preferred

Responsabilidades

• Assist in coordinating, administering, and maintaining financial controls including internal and SOX controls
• Support the Finance Manager in managing standard cost input process (materials, labor, overhead, cost roll changes)
• Prepare standard and miscellaneous journal entries for monthly close
• Prepare monthly balance sheet account reconciliations
• Collaborate with inventory manager to ensure accurate accounting and valuation of materials
• Coordinate with materials department during physical inventories and reconcile with general ledger
• Provide accounting and reporting guidance on financial transactions to various teams
• Prepare data and analysis using QAD and other systems for internal and external reporting
• Assist in preparing monthly forecasts and the annual budget
• Support cost reduction and profit improvement projects with data and recommendations
• Support data requests during audits
• Track capital project spending and capitalization
• Perform other accounting functions as directed by Finance Manager
