Job summary

Hood Industries, Inc. is seeking a Manufacturing Operations Supervisor for our Plywood mill in Beaumont, MS. You will supervise multiple departments and shifts, develop production schedules and budgets, and coordinate material flow.

The role offers mentoring from management, exposure to core operational areas, and opportunities to grow into a leadership role while upholding safety policies and quality standards across the plant.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree a plus.
• 1–2 years of supervisory experience in manufacturing preferred.
• Knowledge of OSHA standards and safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Supervise operations within multiple departments and shifts, coordinating schedules and material flow.
• Ensure operations meet quality standards and product specifications.
• Coordinate maintenance and equipment updates with maintenance teams.
• Enforce safety policies and conduct safety checks and audits.
• Participate in new hire orientations and ongoing coaching.
• Maintain required operating and HR records (attendance, production reports).
