Job summary

The role requires seven+ years in leadership within manufacturing, strong Lean/ Six Sigma expertise, and ability to mentor teams while driving cost reductions and change initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Operations Management, or a related technical discipline.
• Seven+ years of progressive leadership experience within a manufacturing environment.
• Experience in high‑volume, process‑driven manufacturing environments preferred.
• Extensive knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification preferred.
• Proficiency with Strategy Deployment (Hoshin Kanri) methodologies.
• Strong leadership and collaboration skills with ability to influence at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Champion a culture of safety by ensuring compliance with safety policies and regulatory requirements.
• Lead manufacturing operations to meet or exceed customer expectations for quality, cost, delivery, and production volume.
• Manage workforce capacity with cross‑training and labor contingency plans.
• Develop data‑driven strategies and metrics to improve safety, quality, delivery, and productivity.
• Establish clear performance expectations and build high‑performing teams aligned with objectives.
• Identify training opportunities and mentor employees to build organizational capability.
• Lead change management initiatives to implement process improvements and transformations.
• Drive Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement across the organization.
• Identify cost reduction opportunities to improve profitability.
• Analyze operational data to identify root causes and enhance performance.
• Ensure alignment of systems and practices with industry standards.
