Job summary

Arconic is seeking an Operations Leader for our Lancaster, PA facility. The role directs Production Teams and Shift Coordinators to meet production goals in a safe, continuous-improvement environment.

Responsibilities include coaching staff, aligning team goals with plant objectives, and acting as backup to the Production Superintendent. The position is safety-sensitive and supports a 12-hour rotating shift, 14 of 28 days, in a 24/7 operation.

Qualifications

• 2 years of supervisory experience OR 2 years of project management experience.
• 3 years of manufacturing experience.
• Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States; visa sponsorship not available.

Responsibilities

• Lead the team in safely producing the highest quality product.
• Coaches employees for effectiveness, efficiency, performance, safety practices; corrects behaviors when needed.
• Ensure team performance goals align to department and plant objectives and are communicated to the team.
• Act as backup for the Production Superintendent.
• Comply with employment laws and Arconic Equal Opportunity Policies in hiring, promotions, and disciplinary actions.
• Provide adequate direction for team; maintain clearly stated work assignments and assist when needed.
• Assist in hiring, onboarding, and training new employees.
• Ensure EHS incidents and quality issues are investigated and corrective actions implemented promptly.
